Azubuike Cultural Enrichment program has been designed to increase the participant’s appreciation for Black culture, which is the fabric of African American lives. Through historical struggle, philosophical ideas, spirituality, religion and the arts; Black culture is the social, intellectual, and artistic achievements of African Americans.  

 

The program provides participants with the tools for understanding Black Culture and introduces them to Black Culture through the contributions of African Americans in art, music, theatre, cinema, literature, and history.  Exposure to cultural enrichment fosters good self-esteem and allows our youth to become more responsible and respectful citizens.
